Yesterday's Bananas is the name of my art practice, where I've been exploring themes of comfort and interconnection- often through the lens of my heritage as a descendant of Chinese immigrants to Hawaiʻi. After studying Animation at DePaul University in Chicago, I returned to Hawaiʻi and worked in graphic design and marketing. Currently, I freelance as an illustrator and work full-time for the Hawaiʻi Council for the Humanities.
